Tsu’Chu Biz was born as a result of two people from very different professional backgrounds, coming together because of their passion to ‘give back’ to the younger generation. Both had many years of broad international experience in their separate fields of endeavour. It is this history and background that has cultivated the ethos and approach of Tsu’Chu Biz – professionals and work experienced individuals (essentially non teachers) from different fields bringing their knowledge and broad work/life experience to young people in order to help and promote a more ‘whole’ educative experience for the younger generation.
It is the belief of The Tsu’Chu Biz Foundation that the education of young people should not only fall on the academic sector for its source of wisdom, knowledge and guidance, but should also draw on the expertise, knowledge, experience and support that other professional and private sectors have to offer the young. The Tsu’Chu Biz model therefore employs not only diverse course content such as skills, knowledge and best practice from different professional backgrounds, including business and family businesses, professional football and the coaching and counseling world, but it employs a delivery method that utilizes the skills and knowledge of delivery mentors also from different working backgrounds. The model, at the same time showcases a unique collaboration of sponsors and partners all focused on what they too can offer young people during their educational years and through the Tsu’Chu Biz course. Finally the model also seeks to involve volunteer business mentors post course to support young business owners to take their small start-up businesses forward. We believe the model operates as a microcosm of a cohesive society.
The need for Tsu’Chu Biz is becoming increasingly apparent as it addresses key issues relating to young people, society and the economy. Its collaborative approach creates opportunities for real engagement by society and extensive networking by partners and sponsors from different sectors.
